After an absence of 12 years, the CLA Game Fair returned to Yorkshire this year for a glorious few days celebrating the great British countryside. And in true British style, the wet weather couldn't possibly dampen the spirits of the 131,250 visitors! The Oliver Brown team headed up to the event held at the spectacular Harewood House to showcase the new-season tweed collection for ladies and gents. We were proud to join other great brands including Hull Cartridge Company, Dr Watson Shooting and Foxdenton Estate Gin as part of Peg 5's 'Best of British' shooting collection. Also join us in Peg 5's Best of British was BAC Mono, whose spectacular F1 car was quite the talking point. If only... At our pop-up store, we were so pleased with the reaction to our new-season tweed jackets - a particular favourite among the visitors was our AW15 quilted tweed jacket (coming soon!) and our perennial favourite, the Ladies Spanish Suede and Leather Riding Boots. And showing faith that British summertime is not over yet, we sold many of our popular linen jackets in a range of colourful shades - perfect for the inevitable late summer heatwave. A great time was had by all, with the field drinks party on the Friday night enjoyed by many, including representatives from Shooting Times & Country magazine and the Shooting Gazette. We're already looking forward to next year's CLA Game Fair held at Ragley Hall, Warwickshire, 29th - 31st July 2016. See you there?
