OB Diary: Five Things to do in June

5 things to do in June   Summer has arrived! Read on for our top 5 tips for June 2016.   1 Go to the opera Verdi's Nabucco returns to London's Royal Opera House from 6th to 30th June as part of their popular summer season of performances. Daniele Abbado's powerful interpretation is set in the late 20th Century and explored the reality of conflict.   2 Practice your swing! From 27th June to 10th July we'll be glued to the action at Wimbledon. There's no better place to be than London during the tournament, even if you don't have Centre Court tickets. Almost makes us want to get out there and perfect our serves.   3 Don't forget Father's Day Father's Day in the UK falls on Sunday 19th June this year. Gifts to buy? We highly recommend one our leather-bound hip flasks. Expecting a gift? There's always time to drop some very subtle hints...     4 Send winter packing It's probably (hopefully!) time to finally pack away your heavy winter coats and knitwear - for a few months, anyway. Now's the time for linen tailoring, lightweight cotton shirts and lightweight knits.     5 Plan your Royal Ascot outfit   It's one of the biggest events in the social season and we're preparing for our busiest year yet online and in the store. If you have tickets for the Royal Enclosure at this year's Royal Ascot, you'll need a full morning suit, black shoes and a handsome top hat. Take a look at our full morningwear collection for inspiration and read our full guide to choosing a top hat. We'll also be in attendance at the event if you wish to buy or hire your top hat on the day. We look forward to seeing you there!
