Our Favourite Moments: Rio 2016

As the record-breaking Rio Olympics 2016 come to an end, Oliver Brown insiders and friends tell us their favourite moments featuring the almighty Team GB.

Kristian Robson, Proprietor of Oliver Brown "My personal highlight was seeing GB's William Fox-Pitt compete in the dressage event. It's incredible that just 10 months after a serious injury he was able to compete and do us all proud. I also managed to catch Murray's and Bolt's memorable victories while away in a fishing lodge up in Scotland. Seeing Team GB perform so brilliantly in Rio brought back many happy memories of being involved in the Sochi 2014 Winter Olympics. Oliver Brown were the official supplier of formalwear to Team GB - such an honour."
Clare Russell, Fashion and Luxury Ad Manager at Harper’s BAZAAR and Town & Country magazines “Watching the men’s synchronised diving has been the most enjoyable to watch! Not only was it amazing to see GB win a bronze medal but being able to look at men with such fine physiques was a delightful way to spend a Monday evening!”     Kaylie Bloxham, Oliver Brown PR Manager “My favourite moment was watching Great Britain's Charlotte Dujardin win her second individual dressage gold in her final Olympic performance on horse Valegro on Monday. It was a very moving, breath-taking test, and amazing to see the bond between horse and rider – incredibly well deserved.”

Maya Monro-Somerville, Luxury Director at Country & Town House

“Murray winning his consecutive gold in men's singles by beating Del Potro was my favourite, they hugged. Huge Olympic love. He was the First Olympian to ever retain singles gold in tennis I think!”
