A cousin of the oriental dressing gowns of the seventeenth century, the shorter smoking jacket has over the years, become de rigueur for elegant and comfortable home entertaining. This time-honored style with frogging is tailored from our double-breasted block for a ‘classic-fitted’ cut. The jacket is fashioned from especially soft velvet, made from cotton milled in Yorkshire, and has a canvassed construction. Featuring hand-crafted frogging at the buttons and cuffs, and cord bordering the shawl collar, the jacket is finished with velvet-covered buttons. Available in regular and long fittings.
Other colours are available as a Made To Order garment. Please contact us for more information.
