English Regency dandy and icon, Beau Brummell, is credited for conceiving white tie dress. Today this most formal and exacting of dress codes is reserved for ceremonial occasions, formal balls and formal evening weddings. Fashioned in 100% wool worsted barathea from a mill in Huddersfield, renowned for its long history in this cloth, the trousers feature two rows of traditional ribbed braid running down the length. Designed with a regular straight-cut and single pleat front, the trousers have a classic high waist and split back with brace buttons. Finished with side adjusters, the trousers are unfinished but can be hemmed for an additional charge.
