While the exact origins of the raincoat are disputed, Charles Macintosh (later spelled Mackintosh) is credited with creating a waterproof cloth from dissolved natural rubber that was used to create his namesake garment. Our raincoats are made for us at our Spanish atelier and have the added luxury of being reversible between navy and a hearty tweed, making it suitable to wear with most any outfit.
