Oliver Brown is a leading shopping destination for quintessentially traditional and contemporary ready-to-wear collections, bespoke tailoring, formalwear hire and luxury accessories. We specialise in designing collections of the highest quality, using cloths sourced from some of the oldest mills in the North of England and Scotland, manufactured in England.

We are in fact the UK's most notable independent retailer of top hats, offering the largest collection of original antique silk toppers in the world. Further to this, we are also proud to house the UK’s largest collection of velvet smoking jackets. Our covetable collection of Smoking and Dinner jackets offer timeless elegance and style. Exquisite tailoring, fine cloths, and understated British refinement define our evening wear, with pieces you will love to wear season after season.

Suits and Clothing on Rails inside the Jermyn Street Store

For nearly thirty years the home of Oliver Brown has been in the heart of Chelsea at our Lower Sloane Street flagship store. In summer 2017 the store was expanded to double the size, introducing a dedicated bespoke and formalwear department. The unique space allows for our in-house bespoke team to cut and craft each garment right in the centre of the store. This artistry can even be viewed from the tree-lined street outside - the only tailoring house in London to showcase bespoke craftsmanship in this way.

One of London’s favourite shopping destinations, Jermyn Street dates back to 1664 when Charles II authorised Henry Jermyn, the Earl of St Albans, to develop an area close to St James's Palace. The street has flourished ever since with its world-renowned reputation as the centre for gentlemen's fashion, most famously, bespoke shirts. As comfortable as a second skin, a bespoke shirt from Oliver Brown offers a fit and superb finish like no other. Our unique collection of fabrics, collar and cuff options ensure a luxury garment, that has been meticulously cut and finished just for you to your unique measurements. Our team of experts in the art of bespoke shirting, will be on hand to cater to your every need, offering the very highest standards of service, care and fit.
