Mike Deans
Head Cutter
Mike manages the Tailoring Department at Oliver Brown. Spending time in the military after leaving school and exploring a variety of jobs, his desire to become a master of a craft drew him to a career in tailoring. Outside of tailoring, Mike enjoys exploring the work of other craftspeople, climbing and discovering hidden parts of the city.

Isaac Gomis Besant
Undercutter
With a passion for suits from a young age, Isaac’s first job was at David Saxby’s Old Hat in Putney. After joining Oliver Brown at 18, he now looks after all our bespoke trouser and waistcoat orders. In his free time Isaac loves to cook, especially Japanese & Pan-Asian dishes, as well as embarking on motorcycle and wild camping adventures.

Paul Danaher
Head Tailor
Paul has a background in some of Savile Row's most prestigious tailoring houses, bringing with him knowledge and skill from over four decades in the trade. A fanatical Crystal Palace supporter, Paul is also a 5th dan black belt instructor in Shotokan Karate. He brings those same teaching skills to the table in nurturing the younger members of our tailoring team.

Tessa Johnson
Coat Maker
Tessa grew up on the Isle of Sheppey, Kent and learned to sew from her grandmother, who was a seamstress. After studying at UCA Rochester, she worked as Apprentice Coatmaker and Workshop Manager at Edward Sexton. With dreams of one day living on a croft in Scotland, she enjoys gundog training her Cocker Spaniel and growing her own veg.

Samuel Silvester
Coat Maker
Samuel was initially torn between training as a Sommelier or a Tailor. Settling on tailoring, he completed his apprenticeship at Kilgour on Savile Row and enjoys the art and solitude of making coats, whilst still working around others. In his spare time, Sam enjoys good food & wine alongside K-Dramas and socialising with friends.

Sachchi
Made-to-Measure Co-ordinator
Sachchi’s first introduction to tailoring was as a child, seeing his grandfather wearing tailored garments. After initially studying Interior Architecture, he started his tailoring career at Suitsupply before a brief stint at Kent, Haste & Lachter. Sachchi’s other passions include languages, spirituality and classic artwork.

Sam Hechem
Made-to-Measure Specialist
Sam started working at many classic menswear institutions, including Old England in Paris, before he joined the Oliver Brown team. He enjoys meeting new people and sharing his knowledge and passion with them. He is a natural-born forager, always on the hunt for vintage clothing, antiques and even wild mushrooms.
